is located in Montana, Pretoria. The practice was established in 2015 and is headed by Nicola Steenkamp, Registered Medical Orthotist and Prosthetist with a passion for the industry and a special interest in wheelchair seating, medico-legal reporting and pediatric mobility aids and orthoses.

Our Vision

is to grow the practice into a successful multi-disciplinary service, working closely with doctors, physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide the necessary rehabilitation needed to treat a wide range of patients. We want to help patient's to affirm their lives by responsibly utilizing the latest technology advances in the field of Orthotics and Prosthetics. To achieve this vision we consistently strive to provide excellent customer service and continuity of care to all our patients.

A Medical Orthotist/Prosthetist

assesses the needs of patients with regards to orthoses (braces & supports) prescribe treatment, determine the precise technical specifications of prosthesis and orthosis, take measurements and images of body segments, prepare models of the evaluation, fit devices and evaluate treatment outcomes.

Our Mission

is to provide high quality service and products to individuals with amputations, disabilities and injuries alike through supplying effective Prosthetic, Orthotic and Mobility solutions which will enhance their independence and quality of life.

Our approach to clinical care is based on the FICO concept:

F- Functionality

Making sure the brace is doing what it was prescribed for according to the Dr's referral and evaluation made.

I- Independance

Checking if the patient can function independently with the brace while mobilizing and can independently put the brace on.

C- Comfort

Examining if the patient is comfortable while wearing the brace and with the process of putting it on independently.

O- Outcome

Making sure that the rehabilitation goals have been met and that the patient feels they have had a positive experience.
